How it all started
Since I was a child, I was attracted to write short stories, draw, and in literature class at the school started to be interested in poetry, prose. Always being a raw diamond. My teacher then motivated me, as I had potential. A writer’s opinion also told me to be a blooming poet. Probably, lot to learn yet. But at much as life push me away, I come back and is a vicious circle.

I was born in Bilbao, Spain in 1978, under the name of Ainhoa González Llano. I moved to Turku, Finland in August 2006.
Writing has accompanied me from an early age, attracted mainly by poetry.
My texts have been published in different anthologies with the association “Escribe y Lee” in Deusto, Bilbao. I have also been selected in the many competitions of the Spanish publishing house Diversidad literaria, and being published in their anthologies.
I have self-published two books on lulu.com: Todavía sigo allí in 2012 and in 2014 the poetry collection Sangrando Poemas, both in Spanish.
In Finland, since 2011 I have performed in Spanish, English and Finnish at many different events, for example at the Poetry Week in Southwest Finland, at different Poetry Clubs, at the Litera Baltica event, at the Maailma Kylässä festival and for many years at the Turku Book Fair.
My poetry in translation has been published in Kaltio and Lumooja magazines. In 2015 the anthology Runokohtauksia was published, in which my texts were translated by Esa Hirvonen.
In 2021 the anthology Untranslated Nature – Kääntämätön Luonto was published with the Runosvengi collective and Rosetta versos publishing house.
I am a member of the association Runoviikko in Southwest Finland since 2014 and have been a board member of the association from 2019 to 2021.
With Diversidad Literaria publishing house and seven more authors, we have published in 2024 the anthology of erotic or romantic poems and short stories titled “Encuentros Clandestinos”.
